Experimental Showing: 10. Februar 2008, um 18 UhrWhat do you find in movement?
What is its practical reality and to which contexts might it be linked? How does it change through repetition, through my awareness, my sensation, emotion, imagination?
What might be principles to change, shift, transform, develop, translate movement, principles to improvise?
Which images of myself show up during the exploration of a movement? How can I work with clichés? Where is pop in improvisation?
In this workshop we want to work with a simple, short phrase, that is going to be repeated and changed through time. We are going to work on principles, which give a clue to the different levels and, therefor, emotions and associations laying in a movement: that would be 1. sensational work, 2. deconstruction of movement and 3. translation in other contexts (language, music, props). Dealing with your intuitiv esthetics, fooling around with movement and imagination, we are going to approach an unstable, non-represented solo. If there is any interest, we can think about a workshop-showing in the end.
