CLOUDS/ WOLKEN movement, transformation, embodiment
mit Ute Brönner
27. und 28. September 2008
Sa: 13.00-18.30 / So: 15.00-19.30 Uhr
Clouds consist of water. So do we. At least 70% of our body is water. In this workshop we study and absorb the movement, structure and constant transformation of clouds in the sky. We research into the quality of this kind of movement within our own bodies. Through breath, sounds and micromovements we address the liquids in our connective tissue and bring them in resonance. In doing so we open our body and free it from the clutter that restricts our movements and thoughts. Each of the participants will develop their own short sequence of movement. How is the quality of this sequence changing throughout the workshop? How does it transform through layers of sound and breath? How do intrinsic micromovements effect our larger movements in space? This workshop is suitable for dancers, performers, actors, all kinds of artists and all those who are curious and interested to experience their bodies in a new way. Please bring your own writing and drawing material if you wish.
