Zeitgenössischer Tanz
mit Heidi Weiss

# Heidi Weiss teaches a dynamic Contemporary class which combines technical exercises with release, flowing sequences. Her training begins with basic yoga poses, focusing on breath and clarity. The warm- up continues with exercises that focus on creating length and volume in the body.
Particular attention is given to center (core), pelvis and feet placement/ articulation, as well as freedom and flexibility of torso and the back.
(curves, twists, spirals-)
The use of weight remains a central aspect of her style.Through the fusion of fluidity and groundedness, students are encouraged to take risks, testing both physical and spacial boundaries.

Rhythmic combinations, adage phrases and floorwork are all elements in her class. These more moving exercises aim to challenge the students ability to change timing, directions, and movement quality quickly.

As the class progresses, movement themes are expanded into spacial combinations.Emphasized is the ability to travel in the space- letting go of conventional forms while still applying technique.
Other class objectives include developing personal style of moving, picking up material quickly and establishing an awarness of focus.
Her class is structured, moving, challenging and FUN!!

Technique and Improvisation Dance Classes – Body, Time and Space all along
mit Fabiana Capriotti

Body , time and space classes are both technique and IMPro classes where we warm-up, train and analyze from the beginning of the class the awareness of these three elements included in each body action . The class starts focusing into body awareness and body´s relationship with space, floor and concepts such as gravity and support; rolling and sliding . Then we zoom into the body anatomy (bones, joints , the spine, the hip joint, the pelvis , the shoulder girdle or the extremities), their function, connections and qualities to refine our movement capacities and improve our skills. Clarity, simplicity of movement, inhibition of habit will be our search.
We will also train deeply into perception of space and real time composition. Exploring, perceiving, and analyzing Space. Here and Not Here. And exploring , perceiving and analyzing Time. Real time in actions / movements. How long. When. The present and all the other possible time references coming out of the Now. Time of Perception. Sensations as Present.
