28/01/1986, 06:02 pm. The television is on. Its the news. Sitting on the floor, not really watching, the blue of the image lights theroom. A bald head is speaking ... At 11:38, 14 kilometers up in theatmosphere, the space shuttle Challenger exploded 73 seconds after take off killing its crew. As smoke trails skywards the crowd cheers, swinging away, trajectory strange, screaming, then the explosion, silence. Unlike explosions from television, less flames, the smoke stays in the air, slowly expanding, hiding the accident as the pieces fall back to Earth. It doesnt have a feeling; but it stays.
