A part [0:25] ein Tanzsolo von Kazue Ikeda

„The development of this piece started with an experimental approach to my injured body at Tanzmesse Duesseldorf ‚04, and premiered in Valencia, Spain ‚05. One sense can be compensated for when another sense is weakened or dysfunctional.
As much as I perceive my body as a conglomerate of different elements, I see myself as part of a bigger entity, be it society or the universe. You choose the perspective and the degree of conjunction. What is together, what is apart? In ‚‘a part‘‘ I let my body evolve its own delicate movements deriving from internal tension and stimulus. Their energy is sent out to fill the space. These movements are not primarily evolving from conventional dance techniques. Instead, they take the sensation of vulnerability as a point of departure. Each part of the body carefully extends ... into sudden bursts of movement!
... and returns to the center again: to the core - the beginning.“ Kazue Ikeda

Living in [0:25] ein Tanzsolo von Kazue Ikeda

„We all are living in certain things, as like our body, environment, society, space, so on. Once, we are involved them, sometimes we are not pay attention to them or paralysed to be there and not think or feel deeply what‘s happen in our body even in the mind. There are some limitations what we have or do but how can we go on beyond them to overcome our limitations.“ Kazue Ikeda
