This class aims to create a space for embodied research, creative exploration and technical investigation.
Through set exercises and improvisation tasks, the dancers are invited to connect to their innate spontaneity and playfully tune into a sense for composition and articulation.
We will move, stretch, workout, and play.
To guide us through our practice, each day will focus on a different theme including somatic elements, partnering and choreographic tools.
This will lead into a variety of dance material, combinations and phrase work to further explore physical range, movement textures and dynamics.
