Perpetual Motion [From the Body to the Performance]

Movement. To move. To be moved.
Emotion. Motion.
Tension. Intention.

From the sweating body all the way to the state of mind.
Starting from movement & ending up in motion.
We will explore our personal boundaries, approach them physically and dare to go beyond while being there; Inviting a maximum presence in the moment.

Improvisation is used in the class, both integrated into fixed material and separately. To wake up all our tools of movement, of expression & body awareness. To warm up all our receiving antennas & motion sensors. From the intention of movement, to the actual movement, to its echo & what it brings to the body. To embody again the feeling into the next movement, the next echo...into a state. A state of movement, a state of mind. Inviting Motion.
A perpetual motion, a continuous feedback, a spiral path with a direction to be shaped. Using what's there, embracing the possibilities, being present in the moment.

Fixed choreographed material is also given throughout the class, challenging the dancers' technique build-up and movement qualities practice, as well as inviting their performativity to an excess.
