Milla Koistinen
The class is focused on finding an alert and articulated ways of moving with different exercises. The aim is to find an expressive body, which can change its form anytime, and is ready to react on inner and outer impulses. There will be a variety of floor work and possibility for the participants to look for their own interest points. Focus of the class will be on dynamics, rhythm, details, explosion, silence and an active decision making.
Milla Koistinen has graduated from the Theatre Academy of Helsinki, Finland in 2004 with MA in dance. She has worked among others with Kristian Smeds, Hiroaki Umeda, Peter Verhelst (NTGent/Johan Simons), Cie Heddy Maalem, Christine Gaigg, Arja Tiili, Kenneth Kvarnström and Hans van den Broeck. In the summer 2010 Milla was one of the danceWEB scholarship recipients in Impulstanz Vienna. At the moment she is studying choreography in Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch Berlin/HZT. In the autumn her creation No one escapes the spectacle of happiness was played in Bayer Kulturhaus Leverkusen and in Uferstudios Berlin.
