The class starts on the floor giving special attention to the sense of touching and the enormous importance of the skin in human co-ordination and perception. It grows into exercises (bar and/or centre) and combinations that are based on:
- Physical awareness through constant perception of the changes of the body; levels, directions, forms, dynamics and energy flow.
- Adequate use of the weight creating impulses for the movement in suspensions and falls, expansions and retirements, on and off-balance. - Harmony between the muscles strength and the freedom of the joints.
- Regular and efficient breath.
- Precision of details in small movements as well as in complex combinations moving into space.
The class has influence of the Folkwang Hochschule-Essen, Limón and Tai Chi Chuan, among other techniques, beyond of having assimilated elements of a research initiated by Daggi Dornelles, in the 80s, currently named "meetings of the body".
