Alexandra Rogovska

Shape-shifting - The class includes gradual awakening of the body and exercises that weave breath with movement. We are encouraged to listen to our own rhythm and from there to the rhythm of the group. Improvisation inspired from images and work in pairs is developed with the aim to sharpen our senses and connect to our instincts and inner strength. Physicality will be explored through a floor work with a lot of travelling across the space, instigating the state of being constantly available and adaptable to the ever-changing situations. We will work on phrases embraced by gravity to empower and propel us in the space. Eventually, participants will be invited to delve into a shape-shifting journey from a lizard to a wild cat and from there to a warrior!
