The image of a boneless body will guide you through my class. From being a decomposing corpse, a sick and vulnerable animal up until the moment of the raging beast – start from lowering the muscle tone as much as your bodies allows it, in order to widen your range of dynamics and movement quality from there. Working your stamina by dosing your energy – pushing that center of yours through the space – always falling forward – into the floor out of the floor - pushing the limits. But letting go of control – drugged, drunk, in a trance… but crystal clear.

Think in oppositions.
Oppositions in your body to find your center and your balance. Oppositions in dynamics and movement quality – If you want to move hard, you also need to be able to move soft. If you want to move strong, you also need to be able to move weak. If you want to be quick, you also need to be able to be slow. Use it as a mentality to create musicality with the body.

Musicality and music - using the music – using the rhythm and the atmosphere of a music - as a tool to deepen movement quality and fine tune ones choice of dynamics.

Details!

My class is mainly inspired by the work that I have done with Tony Vezich and Nir de Volff/ TOTAL BRUTAL.
