“Body and Belonging” is a workshop that approaches the body as a source of inspiration, a place of belonging, full of unlimited resources, and transformative potential.
The workshop uses movement, voice, and expressive arts, as creative resources to connect with the stories living inside of us that are waiting to be told. Looking at the body as a meeting point where past, present and future converge, we will address the inherent wisdom of the body to deepen awareness and transform our nature through performative states.

Anouk is a dance artist, performing across Europe and internationally for 15+ years. Her solo work “Body and Belonging”, is a processed-based artistic research on the human body, as a subject of identity and place of belonging. H er artistic practice includes performing with Constanza Macras/Dorkypark since 2009, as well as with directors, composers, designers, and visual artists such as El Conde de Torrefiel, Ari Benjamin Meyers, Enrica Beccalli, and Bogomir Doringer on durational performances, interactive installations, and physical theatre. Anouk believes in the power of dance as a practice for personal and interpersonal development, and has been giving workshops since 2014 in such cities as Berlin, Brussels, Lisbon, and Vancouver, Canada. She is certified in “Personal Embodiment” at Tamalpa Institute California, learning the Life/Art Process®, an expressive arts and dance therapy method founded by dance pioneer Anna Halprin and her daughter Daria Halprin. She is also a certified Gyrotonic® and Gyrokinesis® instructor.
