Knoff Yoga Principles of Practice Workshop
Dates: 26th and 27th August
Place: EDEN, Breite Strasse 43, 13187 Berlin, Studio 300
Knoff Yoga Berlin offers divers Workshops and intensive trainings by high qualified teachers, who've been taught and inspired by master teachers Nicky Knoff & James Bryan.
The System of Knoff Yoga is rooted in the traditions of Iyengar Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, offering an insightful and dynamic form of yoga, which combines the anatomical alignment of Iyengar with the energetic principles of Ashtanga.
The practice is accessible for all students and teachers.
A greater understanding of working anatomically correctly in poses creates confidence in addressing underlying issues in the body and provides an intelligent and methodical approach to a lifetime of practice.
Jacinta has completed over 12 years of training with Nicky Knoff, and is one of a handful of certified Master Level Knoff Teachers. She has regularly assisted Nicky over the past 10 years and is invited to teach on Knoff Teacher Training Courses.
Along with her Knoff Yoga training, Jacinta has studied with many of the worlds most notable teachers. From Ashtanga Yoga: David Swenson, David Williams, Tim Miller, John Scott, Gregor Maehle, Matthew Sweeney and Dena Kinsburg. From Iyengar Yoga: Kofi Busia, Kevin Gardiner, Glenn Ceresoli and Peter Scott.
From her in-depth knowledge of both the Iyengar and Ashtanga methods and from personal experience of using yoga to recover from serious injury, she is adept at working with students from all backgrounds and abilities. All that is required of the practice is right attitude and discipline. Jacinta merges her training and experience in the further education sector and knowledge of sound learning principles to create an environment in which students are supported and learning is encouraged.
Jacinta was born in Melbourne, Australia, has traveled the world extensively. As a Senior Yoga Teacher and Educator she has taught all over the world including: Europe, Asia, Australia, New York and New Zealand. She is an ERYT-500 hour registered teacher and is currently serving as a Standards Committee Member for Yoga Alliance, in the USA. She also holds a Master Degree in Education from The University of Melbourne.
She is very excited to be teaching in her favorite European city, and “home away from home”, Berlin.
