Move on Media: The Dancing Dance Floor
Dancing / (Inter-)Acting with Floor Video Projections
post theater shares their experience between dance and media art with focus on floor projections. On what kind of videos can you perform? What are the possibilities of an animated / “moving” floor? Using the technical set up of “Express Fight Club” and “CAFFEE” - to current post theater performances, the workshop participants develop short scenes with the media art team and choreographers of post theater.
The workshop is open for dancers, choreographers, directors, media artists and other interested persons. There will be introductions in video- and projection technologies as well as movement exercises (moving on & with video projections). The workshop will be in English (some Japanese translation might be available upon request). There is no need for prior technical experience. The workshop will be led by the post theater core team, including Max Schumacher, Hiroko Tanahashi, Yoann Trellu and Sibin Vassilev, as much as choreographers who have worked with post theater.
Saturday, February 25th and Sunday, February 26th 2012, each from 11 AM to 5 PM (incl. 1 h break). 75 EUR (includes free admission to “Express Fight Club” the same day if booked before February 1st). Please register via info@posttheater.com

Move on Media: The Dancing Dance Floor
Über das Tanzen / Performen / Arbeiten mit Boden-Video-Projektionen
post theater teilt seine Erfahrung zwischen Tanz und Medienkunst und fokussiert auf die Interaktion mit Bodenprojektionen. Auf welchen Videos kann man wie tanzen / performen? Was sind die Möglichkeiten eines animierten / bewegten Tanzbodens? Anknüpfend an die aktuellen Produktionen “CAFFEE” und “Express Fight Club” entwickeln die Workshop-TeilnehmerInnen kurze Szenen mit dem Medienkunstteam und den ChoreographInnen von post theater.
Der Workshop ist offen für TänzerInnen, ChoreographInnen, MedienkünstlerInnen, PerformerInnen und andere. Es werden Einführungen in Video- und Projektionstechnik gegeben, aber auch Bewegungsübungen mit den Projektionen angeboten. Der Workshop ist in englischer und deutscher Sprache. Technische Vorkenntnisse werden nicht vorausgesetzt. Dozenten sind das post theater Kernteam Max Schumacher, Hiroko Tanahashi, Yoann Trellu und Sibin Vasssilev, so wie Choreographen, die mit post theater gearbeitet haben.
Samstag 25. und Sonntag 26. Februar 2012 jeweils 11 - 17 Uhr (1 h Pause). 75 EUR (inklusive Eintritt für “Express Fight Club” am selben Tag bei Buchungen vor 1.2.2012). Anmeldung über info@posttheater.com
