Nowadays more and more choreographers and directors have the desire to include Media in their work.
Based on video excerpts of performances, the aim of this presentation is to discuss the pros and cons of "new technologies", "multimedia", "interactivity" on a practical point of view.
Talk, exchange ideas and point of view based on practical experience.
In the last 7 years I produced video content and developed custom video software for more than 10 different directors on more than 20 productions.
I'll be happy to share the few things I've learned doing it.

Technics overview (principle)
- Multichannel video.
- Standard video vs high definition.
- Video mapping.
- Video tracking.
- Sensors.
- Media synchronization (lights, audio, video…)
- New projection technics (holographic, 3D, smoke screen…)

A kind of glossary about digital media which aim would be to clarify a few terms:
Resolution, Codec, Compression, dpi, common video and audio standards…
This could happen just after the presentation with people interested to stay.
