Stopping Routines and Enlarging Attention: A lecture introducing concepts of the Grinberg Method

Hi Grinberg interested,

I would like to inform you that, in the frame of the week of presentation of the dance piece TIGHT, Emily Poel - Licensed Trainer of the Grinberg Method - will be giving a lecture about Stopping Routines and Enlarging Attention: A lecture introducing concepts of the Grinberg Method on the 18.06 at 19h in Dock 11 (Halle/Stage), Kastanienallee 79, 10435 Berlin.

What happens in daily life when we dare to move outside of our routines and habitual ways of being? What happens if we experience a dance piece this way? How does stopping the noise in our minds affect our perception and creativity? This short lecture offers an introduction to the Grinberg Method, which is a learning method that works through the body to enlarge attention and achieve individual aims. By applying some of the basic concepts of the Grinberg Method while seeing the dance piece "Tight," we have the chance to experience the piece in a different way than we normally would, more from the whole body and less out of our usual routines.
