„Selbstportrait mit Fliege“, Workshop mit Astrid Endruweit
Mittwoch 14. – Donnerstag 15. September 10:30 - 16 Uhr
Astrid Endruweit nutzt in ihren Arbeiten zufällige und inszenierte Videoaufnahmen. Private oder reale Situationen werden überhöht und mittels live hergestellter Videoeffekte bereits während der Aufnahme verfremdet. Zufällige Videoaufnahmen werden als Verschnitt- und Montagematerial genutzt.
Am Beispiel ihrer eigenen Arbeiten, vermittelt dieser Workshop künstlerische Stilmittel und technische Möglichkeiten, aus choreografierten Tanz- und Bewegungsszenen, technischen Low-Cost-Effekten und Found-Footage ein Selbstportrait zu entwickeln.
Die Teilnehmer werden gebeten, ihre sämtlichen bisherigen Videoaufzeichnungen mitzubringen. Die während des Wokshops vor Ort hergestellten Filmaufnahmen werden mit dem Found Footage zu einem Portrait montiert.

„Video, Bühne, Interaktion“ Einführung in die Software Isadora , Workshop mit Mark Coniglio
Donnerstag 15. September 11 - 17 Uhr
In dem eintägigen Workshop mit Mark Coniglio, Mitbegründer von Troika Ranch (http://troikaranch.org) und Entwickler der Software Isadora®, werden die grundlegenden Strategien und Techniken vermittelt, um interaktive Medien mit Live-Performance zu verbinden. Nach der Einführung in die Grundfunktionen von Isadora® spricht er über in die praktische, bildnerische und dramaturgische Wirkungsweise eines Bühnengeschehen, das mit live manipulierten Medien kombiniert wird.

"sense the space - paterns & pleasure 6" Performance Installation mit low tech & high tech Sensor Instrumenten, Daniel Schorno Steim/Amsterdam
Freitag 16. September 11 - 17 Uhr
Spend 6 hours moving, dancing, composing and interacting with steim low tech & high tech sensor instruments and learn more about it playfully in a creative and informal group workshop.

Daniel Schorno, Composer, born in Zurich/Switzerland in 1963.
He studied composition in London with Melanie Daiken and electronic and computer music in The Hague/Netherlands, with Joel Ryan and Clarence Barlow.
Invited by Michel Waisvisz he lead STEIM - the renown Dutch Studio for Electro Instrumental Music, and home of 'New Instruments' - as Artistic Director until 2005. There he collaborated with musicians and artists like Frank van de Ven, Frances-Marie Uitti, Netochka Nezvanova, Laetitia Sonami, Francisco Lopez, Jon Rose, Anne Laberge, Steina Vasulka, and numerous Dutch New Music Ensembles and organisations like the FNM/Stuttgart and the Theremin Institute/Moscow. He is currently STEIM's composer-in-research and creative project advisor.
Recent works also include the ongoing 'KAIROS Project', where he invites instrumental virtuosi to play along with his new sensor instruments. His concerts and workshops have taken him all over Europe and as far afield as Johannesburg's Soweto, Iceland, Shanghai and the street artists & kids of Guatemala City.

„Selfportrait with fly“, Workshop mit Astrid Endruweit
Astrid Endruweit uses both found footage as well as carefully crafted video material in her work. She heightens private and realistic situations. Distorting her material with special effects created while shooting, she works random out-takes and scrap footage into montages.
Drawing from her own artistic work, Astrid looks at stylistic devices and technical means to develop a self-portrait by combining choreographed dance and movement sequences with no-budget special effects and found footage.
Participants are requested to bring all of their own video footage. this footage will be processed together with material that will be shot in the workshop into a portrait.

„Video, Stage, Interaction“ Introduction to the software Isadora, Workshop with Mark Coniglio
Mark Coniglio, Co-Founder of Troika Ranch (http://troikaranch.org) and creator of the real-time media manipulation software Isadora®, will give a one-day workshop that introduces participants to basic strategies and techniques for integrating interactive media with live performance. After an introduction to the basics of Isadora, he will guide students through the practical, scenographic, and dramaturgical implications of adding live media to performances intended for the stage.
