echo/listening through walls - Sara Shelton Mann

Solo Neutral Follow - Sara Shelton Mann

Bist Du in Deinem Körper?

Regie: Sara Shelton Mann

echo/listening through walls - Sara Shelton Mann

Between the heartbeats is an empty space filled with information that holds an echo of the ___- In our walking are we repeating history that we have conjured and believe or is the present present?

Solo Neutral Follow - Sara Shelton Mann

The question: Are you in your body? Someone else’s or in the “in between”

SNF (Solo Neutral Follow) is a basic study in creating space, taking 100% attention 100% of the time. It is a training of focus, concentration and multidirectional attention. This process frees you from criticism, develops spontaneity, and discipline that takes you to the mat of responsibility. It takes commitment and suspension of beliefs. It is also very much fun and quite exhausting.

Directed by Sara Shelton Mann in collaboration with local dancers and students

OnlyHuman
- Christine Bonansea

OnlyHuman is a solo inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche’s aphoristic volume Human, All Too Human. The performer/ choreographer is investigating the stark contradiction between our race’s capacity for freedom and beauty against its most destructive and illogical behaviors. Created in collaboration with the artists Robert Flynt, Yoann Trellu and Nicole Carroll, this highly kinetic and virtuosic dance is a meditation on bodily images and stereotypes of self in the context of the environment – geography, emotions, social structure.

OnlyHuman performances engaged local community as well as international audience inquiring humanity and perception of human body. The shows has been developed and seen in 2017 at JACK APAP 2017 showcase (NYC), in the Creative residency at Earthdance (MA), at the Movement Research at the Judson Church performance series (NYC), at the Edgar Poe Gallery (Bronx, NYC),TriskelionArts Festival (NYC), DOCK 11(Berlin), PAMS 2017 Pop-up Stage(Seoul), Fresh Festival (CA), New York Live Art Studio and Spotlight USA 2018 in Bulgaria.

CONDUIT - Jorge De Hoyos

Doch was sind offene Türen überhaupt?

CONDUIT is a solo performance about opening up.
It’s about opening up portals to other dimensions. It’s also about opening up the self to be a portal to other dimensions. And it’s about stepping through portals. Or at least trying to.
What’s an open portal anyway? All that comes through is mostly fake or maybe real, or just banal observations and personal feelings and random thoughts and unexplained movements and fantasies and desires and mystic visions and alien messages and…
