Improvisation series "AMMO-NITE GIG Vol.30"
AMMO-NITE GIG ist ein Spielfeld für Experimente und Improvisation von Butoh, Tanz und Musik und wird in zeitlichen Abständen kontinuierlich im DOCK 11 präsentiert.
Dohee Lee ist eine koreanische Tänzerin, Musikerin und Sängerin und lebt in Kalifornien. Heini Nukari ist eine finnische Tänzerin / Sängerin und Yuko Kaseki ist eine japanische Butoh Tänzerin / Performerin, beide leben seit Jahren in Berlin.

2008-2009 Isadora Duncan Dance Award “Special Award”, dancer/musician and vocalist Dohee Lee. Since her arrival in the US, she has been a vital contributor to both the traditional and contemporary Asian American Cultural Arts landscape of the Bay Area as well as the most “avant-garde” expressions of this area and where ever she goes. She has collaborated with Choreographer/dancer legend Anna Halprin, Shinichi Iova Koga’s Inkboat, Yanis Adoniou’s Kunst-Stoff a contemporary Modern dance company, Jazz musicians Lawrence Ochs and Scott Amendala; contemporary musicians such as Kronos Quartet (SF and Carnegie hall, NYC), cellist Joan Jeanrenaud, Okkyung Lee, Theresa Wong and Nanos Operetta.
Yuko Kaseki lives and works as a freelance dancer, choreographer and teacher in Berlin since 1995. Yuko Kaseki and Marc Ates founded the dance company cokaseki in 1995 and have been involved in various projects with musicians and visual artist. Solos and ensemble performances are performed throughout Europe, Japan, Canada, Mexico and the USA.These works are based on Butoh dance, western contemporary dance and performance technique to create concise and precise dreamlike dance theater.
Yuko Kaseki performs and organizes improvisation series “AMMO-NITE GIG” with international performers and musicians since 2004. Numerous Collaboration with inkBoat(SF) since 2001, CAVE (NY), FLOOR OF SKY Project (SF), Theater Thikwa (Berlin) and others.
