zur Eröffnung des Bodemuseums
auf der Berliner Museumsinsel

„Ovid und Lukian beschreiben
die Freundschaft Apolls zu dem schönen Knaben Hyazinth. Der
eifersüchtige Windgott Zephyr manipuliert mit seinen Winden
die Wurfbahn eines von Apoll geschleuderten Diskus’, so dass
Hyazinth getötet wird. Apollo fordert Zephyr zum Kampf und
tötet ihn gleichfalls. Der tote Knabe verwandelt sich in
eine Blume.“
Mozarts Librettist Widl passte den
Stoff den Salzburger Aufführungsnotwendigkeiten an und erfand
eine Schwester Hyazinths, Melia, hinzu.
Probenzeitraum: vom 4.-18.
November,
tägliche Aufführungen: 18. November bis 9. Dezember
2006,
jeweils 20.30 Uhr
außer donnerstags und 1. Dezember 2006
Gesucht werden 2 männliche
Tänzer für die Rollen Apollo, Hyazinth oder Zephyr sowie
eine Tänzerin für die Rolle Melia. Sie sollten über
eine sehr gute klassische und moderne Tanztechnik, Qualitäten
in Improvisation und Komposition von Bewegungen und eine starke
Bühnenpräsens verfügen,
um die Thematik des Stücks stilübergreifend
in der berühmten Basilika des Bodemuseums in Zusammenarbeit
mit Ismael Ivo umzusetzen. Bitte senden Sie einen CV, ein Portrait,
ein Tanzfoto und eine DVD eines ihrer Bühnenauftritte für

„Ovid and Lukian give a description
of Apollo’s friendship with the beautiful boy Hyazinth. Zephyr,
the jealous god of wind, takes advantage of his power to manipulate
the flight path of a discus thrown by Apollo. As a result Hyazinth
gets killed. Apollo challenges Zephyr to battle and kills him
as well. The dead boy transforms himself into a flower.“
Widl, who wrote Mozart’s libretto,
brought the material in line with the performance requirements
for Salzburg, and thus added another character, Hyazinth’s
sister Melia.
Rehearsal period: 4 -18 November,
daily
Performances: from18 November through 9 December 2006, every night
at 8.30pm except for Thursdays and 1st December 2006
We are looking for two male dancers
who suits the roles of Apollo, Hyazinth, or Zephyr, as well as
for one female dancer to take Melia’s role. Applicants will
be able to offer very good classical and contemporary technique,
strong improvisation and movement creation skills while having
strong stage presence. The dancers must be able to work with various
techniques as they translate the theme of the piece in collaboration
with Ismael Ivo, which is to be performed in the famous basilica
of the Bodemuseum. Please apply for the pre-selection by sending
